Juventus Did Not Always Miss The Bonucci, It’s The Reason
Juventus general manager, Giuseppe Marotta confirmed if his club did not feel sad let alone miss the figure of Leonardo Bonucci who decided to move to AC Milan this summer.
Marotta said only a waste of time just keep thinking about players who choose to join club rivals. Moreover, in an interview Bonucci said he had considered Juventus as last season.
Allegedly one cause of the defender’s departure is because of a dispute with Massimiliano Allegri. While Bonucci plays an important role in helping Juventus win the Scudetto six times in a row.
“Bonucci? There is no point talking about him, “said Marotta as reported by Football Italia.
“The only thing that matters is that he does not make us grieve what he says,” he continued.
Bonucci’s figure can be replaced
The veteran Juventus defender Andrea Barzagli also expressed the same opinion as Marotta. Although Bonucci has an important role in the club, but his position can easily be replaced by other players. So there is no reason for the club to mourn his departure.
“The two players who go are important players for the team (Bonucci and Dani Alves). Moreover, Bonucci has been at Juventus in the last seven years and has a very important role. But in this squad there are 23 players and none of us can determine the outcome of their own match like Diego Maradona, Lionel Messi, or Cristiano Ronaldo, “explained Barzagli.
