Sergio Rico: Milan Give a Good Offer
Sevilla goalkeeper Sergio Rico revealed to the public that AC Milan gave it a very tempting offer, which happened when Gianluigi Donnarumma was about to leave.
There was a period during the summer when Donnarumma formally rejected a new contract with the Rossoneri and they were immediately busy looking for a replacement.
“Milan gave me a very good offer, but on the other side Sevilla also proposed a contract extension to me,” Rico told El Descuento de El Correo TV.
“My head and heart are here and my goal is to stay.”
The release clause in Rico’s new deal rises to 40 million euros.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper has been playing for the Sevilla squad since 2006, where in 2011 his name was called into Sevilla B squad.
In 2016, he also gets a call from the Spanish national team squad.
